Holy Trinity church at Wensley

Wensley is near to Bolton Castle and Leyburn, in the county of Richmondshire (North Yorkshire)  The church was built in 1240 during the reign of Henry III and the south chancel survives intact from that period.

The pews you see here are pre-Reformation belong to the late fifteenth/ early sixteenth centuries.
