You can tell I'm getting desperate for inspiration when I start holding the camera at odd angles to make dull photos more interesting.. Last seen here -- only a month ago!

Yesterday I didn't take a single photo, but we had a lovely day. It was the best Easter Monday weather we've had for years -- no wind, not a cloud in the sky. Now that the village social club has collapsed we no longer have the official omelette pascale that used to attract much of the population. But we had our own mini version in our garden -- a select group of five of us ate wild asparagus omelette, calçots and Romesco sauce brought home from Catalunya, grilled merguez and chops delivered by our local shepherdess, cold roast chicken, and a dessert of cheesecake in a glass.

This took several hours, but after a brief rest we popped out to the square in the early evening for an apero with the neighbours ... All very restorative, ready for today's return to work.
