Jumping for Joy

We thought we were in for a third day of fog when we got up this morning but as the day progressed, the sun came through and produced a wonderful afternoon.

We went for a drive for a couple of hours with the hood down (the first time this year) then walked for two or three miles along the canal at Glasson Dock.

As we returned to the car, we came across some cows on a raised bank, which we stood admiring.  Suddenly four beautiful little calves that must have only been a few days old, came bounding along, one behind the other.

We stood and watched them for a good five minutes running first in one direction and back in the other; the sheer joy they must have felt was quite something to see. This was the clearest shot of two of them!
