Phew- what a scorcher! Wall to wall sunshine, not  a cloud in the sky and warm. We were good in the morning and worked on maps and cards respectively, then even gooder (!) in the afternoon and dug and strimmed and raked. We treated ourselves to an early evening stroll around Gortnakilla. Breath-taking in colours and shimmers. Although it was calm the sea always surges up through this gulley, making an impressive display and some excellent glurpy noises. The other side of the headland was calm and expansive - here's Himself looking reflective. 'elf and safety would have something to say about that fence. And it's a long way down.
