Sharp

The weekend was spent in Brighton for a friend's birthday celebration. The weather was glorious and the beer was cold. A fantastic combination.

A vist to the pier on Saturday afternoon provided ample opportunity to capture birds in flight. However they were so close and so numerous that it actually became quite a challenge to seek out the target.

I captured this chap, and to date I think it is the sharpest pic I've managed to take of a bird in flight. Mainly because I was able to use a smaller lens which has IS. My normal lens doesn't have that facility.
