Godwit at Frampton Marsh

Well, the good weather continues ... at least until the end of the week … or so we’ve been told. So it was back over to Frampton Marsh, walked and shot pictures until I was too tired to walk any more, a nice steak-and-kidney pie at the hotel in Bicker and home for a feet-up and a gin-and-tonic. So, what did we see … well, some of the highlights were godwit, ruff, redshank, avocet, ringed plover, skylark, little egret, teal, lapwing, black-headed gulls (too many), lots of mating toads and we saw the water voles.
