Viola
A day spent touring around Central Scotland helping Iona move to her new flat and a new phase of her life in Edinburgh where spring is well underway. That meant it was early evening before I got out into the garden.
I read in one of the many magazines I am partial to at this time of the year that April is the last month when you are truly in control of the garden. I am not at all sure that is the case with me. Jobs are stacking up and I've already told the grass to stop growing while I remove the moss. It hasn't.
Daffodils are well on the way with many strong blooms awaiting for a blip. But it was this dainty viola waiting to be potted up which seemed to reflect the super weather we have been having.
