Another hunt!

This time at our nearest National Trust property, Lytes Cary. My granddaughter enjoyed the Easter Egg hunt so much last year that she asked if we could go again, and this time her little brother was ready to join in. They had to solve clues as they went around the trail - I think their Dad enjoyed it too!
Through the woods, across a field or two, the activity provided plenty of opportunity for running and  jumping on logs as well as solving the clues set out on large cut-out rabbits!
This is the end of the trail, when the prize of a (very generous) big chocolate egg was given by a very kind National Trust volunteer!
Back at home it was so warm we had afternoon tea in the garden, when Simnel cake and lemon butterfly cakes were consumed with relish by all ages!
