Started the day with a bit of housework (yuk) and some hand-washing of one of my thick Norwegian wool sweaters that I use in winter. Time to put it away until next winter - so I took advantage of a good drying day!
Out walking today was very warm in the sun, but still a bit of a chill in the wind in exposed places.
The skylarks were up and singing loudly and the alpacas were out in one of the fields. Only two this year - normally there are three.
I was going to photograph some bluebells that are opening up in the hedgerows, but then I spotted this plant - no idea what it is though. I was taken by the vivid colours against the clear blue sky - and there was a huge bumble bee buzzing around the flowers - but it made off just as I got my camera ready.
