Ancient trees

This morning we went for a walk in the New Forest, near to Burley. I love these old trees and the open space around them. Lots of bird song - a wonderful flock of Siskins, Brimstone butterflies everywhere, and Roe Deer. And another sunny day with blue skies, wonderful.

Most bizarre sight of the day - Raffles, a 27 year old green winged macaw, sitting with his owner who was enjoying a pint outside the White Buck at lunchtime. That was my alternative blip ! I'd like a parrot !
