Back at the Castle

Back at the Castle this afternoon for Hospitality team training ahead of taking on evening shifts in May, which will add a bit of variety to the PR freelancing and morale-boosting social interaction for those weeks when I'm working solo at home.

The familiar sight of the Castle as I drove out in the early evening sunshine felt like coming home tonight. It was lovely to see a few familiar faces today who seemed genuinely pleased to see me back and my Easter cake went down well with the boys in falconry and girls in the office.

There's something very special about working at the Castle and all the people that work there. I miss being there every day but now and again suits me just fine too.
