Fungi.

Not sure exactly what these are, but they showed up nicely in the grass.
We started on firewood today. Moved the dry wood left over from last year, so we can put some new wood in under the house, a mixture of green & dry.
We picked up some manuka that had been felled last year, and brought it back to the house, where PJ sawed it into pieces small enough to fit into the fire. I still have to put it away.
We had another 20mls rain last night, so that is a total of 70mls of rain in the last few days. We really should have started on the firewood, before the rain started, as the wood be collected up today was soaking!!
