Happy Hens

It has been an overcast day, although very muggy.  Perfect conditions for growing grass......and fungi.  There have been a few mushrooms popping up over the farm, although when I went looking for some, I couldn't find any 'perfect' specimens to photograph.

So instead you have our hens - happy to have some green grass again to search for some worms and insects.

We're in for some major rain over the next few days, exactly what we need to increase the water tables after the drought over the summer.
