Working in the garden today it sounded as if there had been a swarm of bees.

However it is far too early in the season for that and closer examination revealed the bees forming a queue to visit each flower of this camellia shrub in my front garden.

The flowers are quite large.  Usually only one bee will visit a flower at any one time but on this occasion I saw a number of flowers with a duplicity of bees.
