Flowers for Peggy

Peggy is my stepnan.. she suffered another stroke a number of weeks ago. But today i took her, her meals for the week back at her own home and she was really rather chipper..

Telling our Elizabeth all about her budgie.. who she can't remember the name of until i pointed out the little sign on his cage with 'dougie' written on.. 'Ahh yes, how could i forget'. (Dougie is her late husband)

ITs funny the little things that can often put a smile on someones face isn't it. But today libbie and peggy enjoyed seeing each other. Even if names got a bit muddled at times... heck if i get to 80+ and still remember my own name i'll be partying ;)

Good news today that my stepson has finally been accepted into our local school.. so no more home schooling yay! just have to wait for an appointment to go discuss his options.
