Sunny daffodils

A glorious, warm day.

The 'heatwave' continues. I know this is another flower shot, but the daffodils in the garden look so beautiful and I thought that taking them against the brilliant blue background of the sky would remind me of how wonderful the day had been. I am grateful for the delayed remote control which I have, since I would never have been able to get up if I had actually laid down to press the shutter button to take the shot!

I have been looking after one of my grandchildren while the other is with Eleanor, helping at the Foodbank. These last few weeks, people have been turning up in greater numbers than ever - whether this will make any difference in the UK election I am not sure.

This afternoon I will be attending the latest session of the Listening Course. I have been told which Surgery I will be attached to next month, so it is getting closer to the time when I will actually start.
