Meanders
Meandering around Perth today before J's optician appointment. We made our way to the Fair Maid's House where we found that the Royal Scottish Geographical Society has their visitor and education centre. I didn't know this before today. Wow! What a brilliant place and the Explorer's Room upstairs has to be the best room ever in the whole world! It was like something out of film set or a room where Jules Verne might sit and write his novels. I could quite happily spend all my days in it. And the centre is free to visit so I would definitely recommend it to anyone with an interest in geography and maps.
On our way from there to the opticians we took a shortcut up this vennel and I saw this hose which reminded me of a river meandering along. I thought it an appropriate photo to put on given that I had just been enraptured by a geographical centre! No ox-bow lakes along Rubber River though!
