Ogwen Valley from Tryfan

Lucky enough to have another great day up my favourite (maybe joint fave with Stac Pollaidh in Scotland) mountain this Easter. I love it up here and I'd rank it as one of my favourite places in the world, there's just something about it! It forms part of the Bochlwyd Horseshoe: a full day in the mountains that consists of about eighty percent scrambling, amazing views and plenty of room to not feel overcrowded.

We went up the East face today, rather then the more traditional north ridge, just for change and to seek out some gullys to scramble away from the Easter crowds. I had a great time clambering up rocks and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and views, perfect!
