New Haw Lock
Luke needed black shirts and black trousers for working at the club so we went to M&S this morning to get him some before his 11am shift started. On the way home I went via New Haw Lock, which is a pretty lock on the River Wey, part of the Wey Navigations that used barges commercially to transport grain from the Royal Docks in London to Coxes Mill in Addlestone right up until the late 1960's. I thought the lock keeper's house looked very pretty in the morning sunlight.
I am really enjoying this lovely spring weather, long may it last (and we all know that it won't!).
