Llanymynech Drum House
After doing a bit of work in the garden I went for a walk on Llanymynech Rocks Nature Reserve. It's good for nature and industrial archaeology as there was originally a limestone quarry and industry there.
This is the drum house on the Welsh side (the border goes through the reserve) and there's a restored one on the English side. The limestone was transported down the inclines the kiln below then to canal until the railway took over.
