Castles in the air....

Up and out early today to see the Doc. And as it was such a gorgeous Spring morning, I decided to take the long route home and enjoyed a leisurely walk on a sparkling, sunny day.

My path took me past a quirky cottage, down by the river, that some of you may remember. First of all there's the Hobbit's secret door, then there are the stone serpents, and finally a knight in shining armour! Today I spotted this castle where I like to think that a fair damsel lives, waiting to be rescued by that knight!!
