Those were the Days!
I was stuck for a blip today as I have been very busy. But I have copied a blip friend who also showed us some precious books today.
Mine are not precious in money terms but they are full of memories. I was not born in to a household full of books, my parents only read a daily paper. Yet from the moment I learned to read it has been my most precious pastime.
Two of the books in my blip are my oldest friends: Tudors and Stuarts and the School Friend Annual 1955 which I saved up to buy for 7/6p. The rest came after. Oh and I wasn't even born in 1933. That annual was a more recent purchase and sadly has only short stories and no comic strip tales!
