Allotment hands...

...or 'look no hands' (for taking the photo?).

Several weeks ago, I gave myself the night off clients tonight. I'm very glad I did and I suspect I should have done rather sooner than I did. Ho hum, all part of the learning experience.
After a v quickly rustled up dinner, off I went to the allotment to start turning over the earth in the new raised bed. Started off OK then found  an awful lot of bindweed and other unwanted stuff: plastic bags (including 40 litre bags that once had compost in them), sausage roll wrappers, unidentified bits of plastic, you get the idea. I managed to clear maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of it I guess.

More on Friday weather permitting. And parental cavalry appearing on Sunday to bring compost and do a bit too.
