Sunset shoot

It seems like a long time since I watched a sunset from here across the pier and the Kent estuary.  There's usually a photographer or two to add scale and human interest! It was such a beautiful evening, Gus and I went for a long circular walk that eventually took us under the viaduct and onto the prom.  On the salt marsh, Gus joined in with a game of football as the smell of fish and chips wafted mouthwateringly across to us.

It has been warm all day with temperatures of over 14C in the early afternoon.  These were the sort of conditions that I had hoped might bring Reggie out from some hibernation spot in the garden, but alas there is still no sign of him.
