Kites

Red Kites, to be precise. All the good photos were taken on my slr and I stupidly left the thingamajig at home so can't get them off the camera...

We've seen a few of these fantastic birds this week, but never as many as this in one place. This was at a 'feeding station'. The birds all know it's coming so they're circling around beforehand. Watching them swooping down to snatch the food was quite an experience.

After that we went for a long walk along the coast. And got sunburn. Doh!
