Gentle Power

On my way back from physiotherapy I stopped off by Inverleith Pond. A swan was on the boardwalk and looked to be disoriented. We guided her (?) slowly along the boardwalk maze back to the open water.  She then headed for this nest which at first sight was empty. She then clambered onto the nest and then slowly started turning a single beautiful bluish egg with great gentleness until she was happy and then settled down on it. I hope she is successful.
