Winter Survivors*

Plants just outside our back door. (Here's a close-up from last summer.) The weather remains foul--barely above 5˚C (41˚F), cloudy and damp (though only sprinkles). It's worse knowing that the Europe we left behind is having warm and sunny weather. At least work on Monday's presentation is progressing :)

*Edit:  They have more surviving to do. We awoke next morning to a substantial dusting of snow.
