10,000 Plus!

That's not how many pleasure boats and commercial fishing boats are moored at Squalicum Harbor -- it's how many steps I took today, the first time I've reached the magic 10,000. It's just before 6pm here, and I'm proud to say that I've also done 21 flights of stairs, with a few more steps and stairs expected in the next few hours.

It's a lot more fun adding steps when the weather is as lovely as today's and the harbor full of boats -- more than 1,200 commercial and pleasure boats, according to the Squalicum Harbor website. 

We have a trip coming up soon, the garden is calling me, unfinished projects are clamoring, long-overdue letters need to be written, and the days are whizzing by!
