Now You See Me, Now You Don't!
Last year I had an orb-weaver spider on a bush in my front yard. This year I have one on a crape myrtle by my back deck. These spiders build a new web every night, take it down the next morning and hide under a leaf or some place they feel safe for the day. If I hadn't seen this one camouflage itself on the crape myrtle pod, I never would have known it was there. It's amazing to me!!!
