At the park

A wonderfully warmed up day to pick up Fiona - people in Seattle today were walking around in short shorts and tank tops… (no, it wasn’t out of the 60s…that’s Seattle)
We hadn’t spent much time in this park lately so that’s where she wanted to go.  This is a pretty rare pensive mode at a pause on one of the climbers.   She had had a “cookie” shirt on over this tank dress with a recipe on the back for sugar cookies—when I picked her up she pointed it out and asked if we could make them… I wasn't sure about the recipe but after the park that's what we did and they were great!  Wrapped them up  with a nice card she made for her Mom’s birthday tomorrow.  She says she’ll wear that shirt over a lot!
We had a splendid time…..


3 more “sleeps” and we’re on a plane for Venice with her sister!  :-)  We're almost ready to go!
