Painful ear!

Yes, that is a computer, and yes that is a phone. I took some pleasant photos of Chloe on the beach this morning, but as the journal is meant to reflect my day you have a computer showing a power-point presentation and a phone!
I think I may have mentioned before that I write blogs about volunteering with the National Trust and this has grown into a slightly larger role.Today we had a conference (coffee, lunch, chat...the usual stuff) but it was in Swindon. Those of us who couldn't get to Swindon easily joined in by phone! That accounts for my painful ear.
With another 'hat' on I also got involved with writing an article for 'Smallholder' magazine about the new BritishGoat Society Chairperson. The BGS was founded in 1879 and SHE is the first woman chair...thus the need for a story. Thus, also, my lack of commenting for a few days.
