A place in the sun

It was lovely morning despite the forecast and when I had my coffee break I had a scan of the garden to look for a blip.

This cornflower was just catching the suns rays from behind this leaf (the rest were in the shade). I like the colours here and the form of the composition so this is my choice for today.

I would have sat in the garden to mark as there was very little wind but the gas men have arrived! They seem to be digging up everywhere in our part of the village and it is now our turn! Great when you live at the top of a cul de sac! Fun and games to come I think.
