One species each day (from my backyard)

It was a warm and sunny autumn Easter Monday and I was working on the new floor so didn't have much time to find another species in my backyard when a species from my backyard flew into the kitchen. I was just boiling a jug for a cup of tea and the steam of the jug condensated on the kitchen window, which attracted a thirsty Calliphora stygia. I like the heart-shaped prints on the glass where it had licked up the condensation.
