Right At The Bottom

Today was another no-sea day. There's a HUGE swell and BIG waves breaking on the beach.

So we decided to go to Cape Agulhas. This is the southern most tip of Africa and it's where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean, as you can see!

There is a lighthouse there too so we went to the top where the views are amazing!!

We then went to Struisbaai where we hope to see the giant stingrays who live around the wee harbour there. But they didn't come to see us today :-(

We stopped off in Bredasdorp to grab some fish & chips for lunch - which were absolutely delicious - and then we headed back home.

We are now relaxing in the volunteer house, wondering what we will do tomorrow as it's another no-sea day :-(
