An Apple A Day
I know it's sad, but I don't care. It's my birthday and I'll blip what I want to!
I have now completed my Hackintosh rig; that is a non-Apple computer running all Apple hardware and software. It's been a challenge and a steep learning curve, but immensely rewarding, as I now have a top-end Mac without having to pay the top-end price because I built it all myself.
As you can see from the image, there are two high res displays, bluetooth keyboard, track-pad and mouse, and today's birthday acquisition, an iPhone 6.
It's all running sweetly on Yosemite and I even have iMessage, iCloud and FaceTime working too. Pretty cool, though I say so myself.
Time to rejoin the human race.
But I have had a wonderful day and it is still not over.
First thing, I went to see Mum. We did some supermarket shopping followed by a lovely lunch at George's bar once again.
Then home again to walk Buster before Jacqui returned from Gibraltar. She was early and so I got to open my cards and presents while Buster looked on impatiently.
Now I am about to chuck some steaks on the grill and open the Rioja.
And I don't feel any older at all.
But I might do tomorrow.
