Aldeburgh

Two concerts at Aldeburgh today following a quick and cold walk around Minsmere where we heard a bittern.  First concert was in Orford Church and featured Brahms and Mendelssohn.  Second was at Snape where this picture was taken and featured I Fagiolini singing Vittoria and Schultz.  And who should turn up but David Miller, last seen playing the lute in Oxford, playing the theorbo.  Both concerts were very good but why did the sunshine wait until the start of the first concert to come out?  Very cold until then.
