Deene Park

I hadn't heard of Deene Parke, the home of the Brudenell family, in Northamptonshire, until the local NADFAS group were running a day trip there, as well as to Southwick Hall.

This amazing stately home (not National Trust, I'm afraid) has been there, since before the Norman Conquest.  It has grown over the centuries - from a medieval manor into a Tudor and Georgian mansion.

Wonderful weather. Great company. A super day was had by all.
