I've got the Powis

With both of us having Easter Sunday off and the weather looking good we decided to make a day of it and headed out over the border to Powis Castle & gardens.

It was a nice day wandering around the gardens and house, Laura even posed for a couple of photos, but decided I should use this one of me on an empty plinth that she took instead.  Up in in the big house I actually found the servant's bits more interesting than the impressively fancy rooms upstairs.

After an ice cream we ended up heading back to Shrewsbury for a riverside drink at The Boathouse and then a lazy tea...at the pub.
