Chartwell House

Another day, another national trust property. My dad has always wanted to go here so we took him. It was such a lovely day. We did a big walk around the grounds then into the house. The kids spent a long time practising their cartwheels on the lawn. oh to have a house and garden like that! It was also my dad's birthday today. I hope we made it special for him as it's not even been a month since my mum died. After the visit we took him to his favourite Lebanese and he is currently doing the pub quiz with my husband!
