birthday!

32 today. Mr B baked his first ever cake (with Eve's help), it was a resounding success.

I also went for a picnic with Emma, Jon and the girls and Ju and Vic were here to sing happy birthday..... not to mention a bounty of gifts and cards from visitors and pink lemonade with Trevor (who came round to collect a TV but was bullied into pink lemonade and chatter). I am blessed.

Sadly there's a but..... I want my Mum and I want to say thank you to her again for giving birth to her baby cauliflower head at 8:26am 32 years ago and for everything since. Last year my birthday text read "Happy birthday, my love - 31 today. Love & happiness & joy & peace, Mum & Ju xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx".

I want my Mum. I always will, I guess.
