Family - Take the time before time takes it

How is it that you can go for years without seeing your extended family and straight away, upon meeting, you are acutely aware of how time seems to have not moved in regards to your closeness to each other but you are also sadly aware of how much time has passed (accidentally) and everyone has grown up SO much.

This year, I'm making a conscious effort to get back in touch with all my family..which will be quite a feat as, at last count, I have 76 cousins (we're irish!).  

Today, I spent the afternoon having lunch with some of my cousins and aunt from my mum's side of the family and it was a BLAST! If laughter is the best medicine I virtually healed myself today!
