Unst

To some the south Mainland of Shetland is remote enough but what they think of Unst in the far North I hate to think. 50+ miles north of Lerwick and two ferry trips to get there does make it that bit remoter. Still I could live there quite happily.

This stoney beach at Westing is probably my favourite picnic site in Shetland. Not quite as far North as you can go in the British Isles but not far from it.
