Beaux Voisins

Got together with our French neighbours and friends tonight for the first time since heading off to Spain for the winter.  Champagne and nibbles were followed by carry-out pizza and a lot of laughter.  Laurène is a psychologist and Roger, a Québecois, is an osteopath. Roger hails from Les îles de la Madeleine, which is where I set the Canadian end of "Entry Island".  It was he who introduced me to the islands in the first place, and his brother Léonard, who still lives there, was enormously helpful when I went to do my research.  His other brother, Yves, is the man behind Cirque du Soleil.
