More daffodils

It seems to have been a good year for daffodils.  Roy Strong complained bitterly that they are one of just four flowers that we grow in England these days.  Like cookery, the more television we watch on the subject, the less we actually do.  But part of the problem is that the television programmes make it look so easy to get a perfect result and the reality is very different.  The reality is one very good daffodil and a lot of indifferent ones.  The key to being a happy gardener is to focus on the good one!
