Juxtaposition

Life is great, despite the rain and the thunder storm this evening. My wonderful life partner rejoined me this afternoon. S flew from Auckland late this morning and I got back to the accommodation to be greeted by her.

I went for a morning run, as for the first time since Monday it has not been raining in the morning. Still very overcast. I chose to run southwest into the centre of the city, before heading to the coast and the Coastal Walkway to head back here. 

In the city I saw this gas supply on a wall between a restaurant and a shop selling many things two of which can be seen advertised on the pillar.

Thus we have gurnard and brussels sprouts, gas supply, gifts and body piercing. Your choice.
