Curves

Interesting walk home this morning from an early work session. A big black car with police support vehicles drew up beside me outside one of the big bank foundations, and The King and Queen of Spain stepped out. I thought about digging into my briefcase for my iPad but the looks of the masked security officers put me off. Didn't want them to think I was reaching for something more dangerous. Still, the King waved in my direction and I found myself giving him a friendly wave back! He is very imposing in the flesh . . . tall, elegant, fine posture, kingly beard and open smile. The Queen is bird-like in comparison but also very well turned out.
