After the Rain

I'm trying to avoid getting to 11pm and wondering where the evening's gone, why Mr K and I have hardly spoken and why the house is still full of all those little jobs that need doing.....
So, a couple of shots taken, a bit of cropping and posted by just after 7pm. Woohoo!!
Then it's listening out for the fish and chip van that comes to the village and announces itself with a school bell.
Mr K is practically Pavlovian in his reponse to that bell!!!!
A quiet day today. Miss E at school and a lazy day with Miss L until her swimming lesson at 3pm.
Day two of potty training went very well! She took herself off to the toilet a few times this morning - as usual she was naked so she didn't have to contend with clothes and knickers! - and got annoyed that I kept asking her every five minutes half hour or so if she needed a wee wee! I remember when Miss E got to that stage she'd more or less cracked it!
At swimming they swallow loads of water so I wasn't holding out too much hope for the 35 minute drive to school but I was so pleased when, halfway there, she squealed out that she needed the potty - handily right by a lay-by.
She didn't think much of sitting there in the rain though, ha ha!!!
She did have one accident tonight but it was outside so it doesn't count but fingers crossed she's got the idea and we can look forward to nappy-free living....
