A couple of pirates

Today started early as I had arranged to go running with a friend at 6.30. Now normally that would be painfully early as it is but after a certain little pirate having woken me 4, yes 4, times in the night it felt literally painful.
I duly trotted around the countryside though and by the end of an hour felt actually quite marvellous (the endorphins can do miraculous things - just a shame they wear off....).

Normal Wednesday madness ensued and now I just need to decide whether to crawl onto the settee and go to sleep or summon up the energy to climb the stairs and get into bed... xx
