Indian Silverbill

Got too many photographs today & so I had trouble choosing, which is a lovely position to be in! The Indian Silverbill posed beautifully against the backdrop of yellowing Palm leaves. He's a plain little bird, but very active and of course he has rather a large silver bill, with which he crushes and eats seeds. Very sociable and usually seen in large flocks, especially around early morning and early evening.
