Big rush of spring flowers

After the last few glorious days in the Chilterns the flowers at the nature reserve have finally got their act together. I had a management meeting at the reserve today, which meant a relaxed walk round the site. I swear bluebells were coming out as we watched! Mind you, all notions of an orderly event have gone out of the window - I don't remember another year when bluebells are well out before I've seen even one flower on our great carpets of bugle. Now get back in line you lot!
